I visited the Amazon rainforest twice, once in 1997 on a visit to Perú I stayed in Iquitos for a few days, and two days in a jungle lodge. The second time was in 2005 during a visit to Ecuador. I flew to Puerto Francisco de Orellana (Coca) and stayed a few days in a jungle lodge and a few days on a boat on the river.
