Sobek - The God of Crocodiles, Power, Protection and Fertility

by Günther Eichhorn

God of the Crocodiles, Power, Protection and Fertility. He was said to be the son of Neith. He was originally a demon, since crocodiles were deeply feared. He was also associated with the fertility that the Nile provided. He was shown as a man with the head of a crocodile.
