Archer Goddess, Goddess of the annual flood of the Nile and the Nile cataracts. She was the wife of Khnoum. She was associated with Sirius, the Dog Star, because the annual flood coincided with the rising of Sirius. Every year, Isis would shed a single tear. Satet would catch it with a jar and pour it into the Nile to create the annual flood. She was worshiped with Khnoum on Elephantine Island near Aswan. She was shown with the Hedjet, the White Crown of Upper Egypt and antelope horns.
